We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team. This role is critical in leading all on-site construction activities, maintaining schedule and budget targets, ensuring safety, and upholding Ganem Construction's standards of quality and professionalism.<h3> </h3><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and supervise all field personnel and construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.</li><li>Promote and enforce job site safety, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure compliance with all company safety policies.</li><li>Maintain consistent communication with the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager, identifying issues and delivering proactive solutions.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, inspection agencies, engineers, architects, and clients.</li><li>Oversee field operations including site coordination, material deliveries, inspections, and daily workflow.</li><li>Review and understand project documents including contracts, drawings, specifications, addenda, RFIs, change orders, and permits.</li><li>Perform daily job walks, monitor workmanship, and reduce owner punch lists through strong quality control practices.</li><li>Ensure subcontractors meet all contractual requirements prior to starting work, including safety programs and documentation.</li><li>Support project teams with high-level communication, leadership, and collaboration from start-up through close-out.</li><li>Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites and field offices.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Requirements</h3>Skills &amp; Knowledge<ul><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).</li><li>Procore certification required.</li><li>Tilt-up experience required.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and schedule management skills.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.</li><li>30-hour OSHA certification required.</li><li>Current CPR certification required.</li><li>LEED AP or LEED training preferred.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>5+ years of successful superintendent experience with a commercial builder.</li><li>Strong background in scheduling, field supervision, safety, and quality control.</li><li>Experience in commercial construction including tenant improvements, ground-up construction, and similar project types.</li></ul>Physical &amp; Mental Requirements<ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and use hands regularly.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.</li><li>Strong time management, judgment, communication, and decision-making skills.</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Must pass pre-employment background screening, including employment verification, education, criminal history, and driving record.</li></ul>Join Our Team If you are a dedicated construction professional who thrives in the field and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects, we want to hear from you.
