This position is responsible for managing daily construction activities, maintaining project schedules, promoting jobsite safety, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering quality projects on time and within budget.</p><p style="font-size: 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">This role works closely with Project Managers, Senior Superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors throughout the construction process.</p><h2 style=""><br></h2><h2 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Manage daily field operations on commercial construction projects.</li><li>Promote and enforce safe work practices while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.</li><li>Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspection agencies.</li><li>Monitor project schedules and collaborate with Project Managers to maintain project milestones.</li><li>Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.</li><li>Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and progress.</li><li>Identify project issues and communicate solutions promptly.</li><li>Maintain accurate daily reports, punch lists, as-built documentation, and project records.</li><li>Ensure subcontractors meet contractual, safety, and quality requirements before beginning work.</li><li>Maintain organized, clean, and professional jobsites.</li><li>Build positive working relationships with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.</li><li>Support successful project closeout and warranty activities.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Qualifications</h2><h3>Required</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)</li><li>Experience using Procore</li><li>OSHA 30 certification</li><li>Valid CPR certification</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><h3>Preferred</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field</li><li>LEED AP credential or LEED training</li></ul><h2 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Physical Requirements</h2><p style="font-size: 13px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">This position requires standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
